Your entries (clocks, notes, to-dos, reviews, birthdays, drawings, settings) are stored on your device. Without an account they never leave it. Birthday and event reminders are local notifications triggered by your device; no data is sent to us for this.

If you create an account, we process your email address and an encrypted password (or your sign-in with Apple or Google), your display name and avatar, and your planner content so it is available on all your devices and backed up.

Provider: Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore), Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Your data is stored in data centers in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. A data processing agreement with Google is in place. A transfer to the USA cannot be completely ruled out; it is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Email Address & Password → Delete Account. This deletes your account and cloud data. More on our delete account page.

If you write to us via “Request a feature”, “Help & Support”, the contact form on this website or by email, we process your email address and your message to answer you. The data is deleted once your request has been handled, at the latest after 12 months.

Zero Timer Pro is bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google handle all payments; we never receive your payment details.

To manage subscriptions we use RevenueCat, Inc., 1032 E Brandon Blvd #3003, Brandon, FL 33511, USA. A random app user ID and purchase information (product, time, status) are processed. Transfers to the USA are based on standard contractual clauses.

To fix errors we use Firebase Crashlytics. When the app crashes, technical information is sent (device model, operating system, app version, error trace and a random installation ID), never the content of your planner.

When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested and your browser, to deliver the website securely (server log files). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Web planner (zero-timer.de/app): If you sign in to the web planner, sign-in and your planner data work exactly as described in section 3 (Google Firebase). Your planner data is only displayed in your browser and is not stored on this website. To keep you signed in, Firebase stores a sign-in token in your browser (IndexedDB). The website also remembers in your browser whether you are signed in, your language and light or dark mode. This is strictly necessary for the function you requested (Section 25 (2) TDDDG). For statistics we only count per day how often the web planner and the dashboard were opened, without IP addresses, user IDs or cookies.

We only keep data as long as it is needed for the purpose in question or as long as legal retention periods require. Account data is removed when you delete your account.

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). Just write to info@icystudios.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestr. 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

Zero Timer is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We update this policy when the app or the law changes. The current version on this page applies.
